The Kyndryl Institute App

Kyndryl, the world’s largest provider of IT infrastructure services, launched the Kyndryl Institute to offer enterprise clients a distinct point of view on digital transformation and innovation. As Creative Director, I led the experience strategy and product design for the Institute’s flagship mobile app—transforming a content initiative into a premium, cross-platform product that positions Kyndryl as a modern leader in enterprise consulting.
The Brief
Kyndryl Consult wanted to rise above the generic, static content common in the consulting space and deliver something that felt alive, dynamic, and differentiated. They needed a mobile experience that showcased expert perspectives across formats—while reflecting the depth, clarity, and polish expected from a global leader in enterprise tech.
The product had to strike a balance: built for business leaders, but easy and intuitive to use; rich in features, but focused and elegant in its design.
Creative Direction & Approach
I set the creative vision for a native iOS and Android experience that blended editorial richness with enterprise-grade functionality. Working closely with cross-functional teams, I led the UX and design of an immersive content environment that supported video, articles, audio, podcasts, and interactive journal content.
The design system prioritized clarity, brand alignment, and responsiveness—ensuring discoverability, intuitive navigation, and a seamless user experience across platforms. We also introduced Kyndryl ID login and gated premium content access, giving the product team a powerful mechanism for personalization and engagement growth.
Above all, I focused the team on building an experience that felt considered, modern, and genuinely useful to Kyndryl’s global audience of business and technology leaders.
The Result
The Kyndryl Institute App launched with strong internal alignment and immediate traction—driving engagement and elevating the company’s brand as a source of trusted, forward-thinking insight. With increasing adoption and a growing library of premium content, the app is now a key channel in Kyndryl’s global thought leadership strategy.
What started as a content delivery need became a strategic product—one that helps Kyndryl connect, differentiate, and lead in a crowded consulting landscape.
